deFT Projects is a multi-discplinary design practice based in Dumbo.
Frederick Tang is Principal of deFT Projects. He is currently a Critic at the Yale School of Architecture. Previously, he was Adjunct Assistant Professor of Architecture at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. He received his Bachelors of Art with Distinction from Yale College in 1999 where he double majored in Architecture and Economics. He received his Masters of Architecture from Yale School of Architecture in 2003. He was Managing Editor of "Re-
Reading Perspecta: The First Fifty
Years of the Yale Architectural Journal," published by MIT Press in 2004. He is also a Project Editor for PRAXIS: Journal of Writing and Building.He is an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects and a U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional.
